As a trainer and organizer, I contributed to this international training that brought together participants from various European countries. The project aimed to empower educators and youth workers with tools to support the inclusion of migrant children in local education systems. It was initiated by two Belgian teachers and funded by the European Union.
I led several workshops and co-facilitated group sessions that explored inclusive education practices, psychological support for newcomers, and the cultural challenges faced by migrant students. The event also included cultural exchanges where participants presented aspects of their home countries, shared traditional foods, and built cross-cultural connections through storytelling.
This experience reinforced the role of education as a powerful instrument for inclusion, empathy, and community building. The training served as a model for fostering understanding and creating accessible learning environments for all.
